Annual Meeting Materials on Resources Page
Recall that the KVPA Annual Meeting is next Tuesday, 9/17, at Knollwood Country Club. We will start promptly at 7pm. Please find a complete set of materials as an acrobat pdf file on the Resources page. The President is recovering from recent eye surgery and may or may not attend. If not, other Board members will handle the meeting.
As noted in the agenda, feel free to submit questions prior to the meeting regarding the financials or the proposed budget so the Board can plan to address them in its prepared remarks. Of course, you can raise questions at the meeting in person as well.
Only a few proxy forms have been received to date so if you do not plan to attend the meeting in person, please send your proxy form to your area liaison if you have one, or to the President directly.
Udated Documents on Resources Page
A number of documents have been updated on the Resources page. Each of the member specific documents (Directory by both last name and lot along with the member specific street map) have been updated. A new Covenants, By Laws and Rules document is also there. The new version includes formatting improvements for blank pages, a rule clarification, a typo correction, a change to the introduction and the replacement of named individuals with the actual title of the officeholder in question within the frequent maintenance issues section. To be clear, no changes were made to the covenants.
KPVA Annual Meeting
The KPVA Resident Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 17th at 7pm at Knollwood Country Club. Doors will open at 6:30pm for check-in and the meeting will begin promptly at 7pm.
The meeting is scheduled to last for one hour. More information will be forthcoming over the next several weeks, including the meeting agenda and copies of the materials that will be reviewed at the meeting.
If you do not plan to attend the meeting in person, please plan to complete the proxy form and send to me or to your area liaison. The proxy form can be found under "Forms" on our website Resources page. Alternatively, here is a direct link to the voter proxy.
KPVA Resident Summer Fest
We have extended the deadline to sign up for the summer fest dinner to this Friday, August 9th at 5pm. As you may recall, the dinner is next Tuesday, August 13th, at Capri Restaurant.
If you would still like to attend, please drop off your completed RSVP form and check payable to KPVA at Loretta's house (51166 Huntington Lane). Thanks so much!
Two Items to Share
A reminder that everyone should have received an invitation to the August 13th KPVA Summer Fest dinner in your newspaper box (right under your US postal service mailbox). We would love to see you at the dinner, so please consider joining us if your schedule permits. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to one of the individuals listed on the invitation.
Long time resident Carol Kirkner passed away on July 11th. The obituary notice is linked below. As noted, there will not be services, but the family suggests several charities to consider donating to in Carol's honor.
